Help With Coverup

Hey guys! This is my first post but I'm stuck. I've been editing with Photoshop for a while and can normally get my way through any issue I've had. But not so with this. I have the attached image that I like but I want to remove the words that are spray painted on the wall. Basically I want to keep the blue background but make it still look faded and like spray painted brick.

I don't want someone to edit this photo for me, just give me an idea as to how to accomplish this. I've tried the color replacement tool as well as the color replacement adjustment. I've also tried the clone stamp and pattern stamp tools. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Please Help With Editing A Background

Hello all,

An intermediate Photoshop user here... Please see the attached image.

How can I make the yellowish background more equal in color? I mean, how can I make it fairly the same color, get rid of the brighter and darker portions? Tried everything I know, no real success. Cannot use the clone stamp tool, there are also graphics (the little stars), will take ages if even possible.

How would you do it? Is there some kind of magic button?

I have also attached the psd file... (diffrent image, not the one shown below, same problem)

Highly Restrict Color Adjustment

I have a photo with numerous strips of nearly washed out skin tones and some very dark shadowed ones. Having no luck trying to darken the light and lighten the dark so it presents natural gradients. In fact I can't get those areas to gradually transition at all. They become uniformly too dark or uniformly too light.as if painted with a spray gun. Surely one of you smart people can tell me how to do this.

Photo Retouching/restoration Practice 3

I have seen this image before and we may have used it a while back. With a whole new set of players, I feel it's safe to bring it back in a new challenge.

No comments from the cheap seats on the condition of her skin. This is a lovely young woman and I would hope that we can all treat her image with respect.

I encourage everyone to give it a try even if your new to Photoshop. All participants should be prepared to explain the techniques they have been using, as we can't learn or help without some idea as to how it was accomplished.

Good luck!

Here is my 1st attempt.

edit: I start by opening the original and duplicating it and then turning off the original layer.
I create a new layer. This is the layer that I will do all of the following adjustments on.

I started by using the following tools and settings.
Healing Brush Tool - Mode= normal - Source= Sampled - Clone sample mode= Current level and below.
Spot Healing Brush Tool - Mode= Normal - Type= Content aware - Sample cloned data from composited data= Sample all layers.
Brush Tool - Mode= Normal - Opacity= 100% - Flow= 1%

This is the image (Layer A) after only using the tools above and one added Levels Adjustment Layer.

edit: I then select the uppermost layer (Levels Adjustment layer) and hit Shift>Option>Command + E to stamp all visible layers. I then name this layer A.
I highlight all other layers except layer A and the original background layer and group them. I then turn off the group.

I then start where the tutorial starts with only the layer A turned on.

Here is the image after using a skin softening technique described in this video:

Need Pattern Stamp Tool Without Pixel-wide White Boundary

Unfortunately the pattern stamp tool insists on having one or two pixel-wide white edge on my touch ups. No brush type or amount of hardness I choose from the tool options bar gets rid of this. Any idea how I can set the pattern stamp tool to have a hard edge, so hard there's absolutely no fade to white at all on the edges.

Replacing Color With Specific Color Code

I am trying to replace the background color of the image below. I am using the replace color tool. I use the first eyedropper tool to select the color. Then the second eyedropper+ tool to select the shaded area. I use a fuzziness of 50-70. I enter the replacement color using a color code. The color is replaced, however the final result is a slight different color than the color code I enter. When I check the end result using the eyedropper tool, I can see a different color code. Why does this happen? What other method can I use to replace the color with a specific color? Thanks

How To Apply Color Corrections...

Lets say I have a photo of a vase of flowers on a neutral gray background. The background has reproduced off
color. After adjusting the color back to neutral gray I want to do he following.

1. Save the adjustments made to the image.

2. Apply that adjustment to a different image of the same subject.

Image Edit Request (i'm Prepared To Pay For It)

Hello,

I'm an amateur photographer and did a photo shoot for a friend.
I used a colored background (1 color) but I now want to change that background to white.

I already tried myself with Photoshop and as you Photoshop experts definitely know, changing most of the background is very easy but it's not that easy to do it in such a way that the 'borders' of the person look natural

I'm looking here for someone who is good in this (so definitely no Photoshop amateur) and who's willing to do this for me. I'm prepared to pay a small fee (via Paypal) for it because I want it to be perfect.

I'm talking about 6 photos.
Please note that I don't want the background color to be changed everywhere to 100% white, the (small) shadows of the background (like in the corners of the photo) and the 'gradient' in the background have to stay so it looks more natural.

If you are very experienced in this and if you are interested in this small job, please send me a PM.

Thanks a lot in advance,
Kate
