Good evening. I'm new here- not sure why I didn't have an account long ago.
I have a question- I'm aware of many sites that offer photos for free personal use and even commercial use however, does anyone know of any sites that have free photos for commercial re-sale permitting that the photo itself has been manipulated to the degree in which it is not longer identifiable as the original image?
I know that this is a stretch- as I understand and respect that no one does anything for fun and sharing however, it's a shot.
Thanks for taking the time to read this over.
Good morning everyone, I have not used a forum like this before, so please bear with me
I'm a dancer (in a Gentleman's Club) and I have to take photos for work...Nothing smutty,or nude, just stuff to load onto a Facebook page. However I'm rubbish at taking the photos, always end up with junk in the background, looking really amateur. I have tried using the edit photos option on my phone, but seem equally useless at that lol. If I post a distinctly average attempt at a photo on here, can you guys show me the best that can be done with it?
Kindest regards
Nicola
Hi everyone. I am desperately hoping someone might be able to help. My grandfather went to my cousin's graduation yesterday and had 2 photos taken with him. He has emailed me the photos, asking if there's a way to fix them as he would like a memento of the day. I have no idea if these photos can be saved, but if you can I would truly appreciate it....
Hi everyone,
I have no idea how to use Photoshop and I don't have Photoshop. But a friend has suggested I make a request for help on a Photoshop forum.
Long story short, every single graduation photo is ruined because of the fake eyelashes in my right eye. I didn't apply it perfectly, and throughout the day, it kept dropping down. No one, not my family members, not my friends, not even the photographer, bothered to tell me my eyelash was completely ****ed. I think the photographer thought I had a legit lazy eye :(
I can't do graduation again and I'm really upset that the photos are just worthless because of this little thing. I don't even want to show my huge family in Thailand. Had I known it was this bad I would've tried to do my eyelashes again.
The digital copies of the professional photos also cost almost $200. Such a waste now. :(
It's not so obvious from a quick glance, but when you actually look at it, it's quite shocking.
Early that day, it wasn't that bad, and I guess the angle helped. ;/
There are a total of 25 photos, but if I can get 4 favourites, or maybe even 2 photos fixed, I would be so, so grateful.
I've asked my boyfriend, but even he seems unwilling because apparently "it'd take a whole day". So I understand if no one can help me, but even a bit of advice or redirecting to someone/another forum would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Where can you find very good stock photos the people can actually use?
For example in this speedart, where could I find a similar cloudy background?

Hi!
I read the guidelines for requesting a free image edit request but please excuse me if this is the wrong forum (?).
I have a photo I'd love to photoshop a pair of strangers OUT of. My stepbrother and I just did an incredible hike at Zion National Park, and I'd love to blow up the picture and frame it for his birthday. The problem is the strangers in the pic are very distracting (in my opinion) and take away from the main focus of the image. Therefore I'd like to request help in removing the strangers (the 2 people on the left, in the orange and blue shirt).
Typically I would love instructions on how to do this myself, but unfortunately I don't have Adobe Photoshop and my image editing skills are very limited (to Picasa, hehe). Therefore if anybody would like to help me photoshop this image, it would be GREATLY appreciated!
I understand a request like this can take a lot of time and effort so I will completely understand if I receive no offers. I thought I would try! This image is originally in RAW format and I had to compress it for this post, but please let me know if/how I can send the original file (I have a flickr account too). If you need any other images (I have quite a few of the same shot from a slightly different angle) please let me know.
Thanks and hope to hear from some of you soon!
Kind regards!
Hi guys,
First post so if it's a really obvious question then apologies! Using Photoshop Elements 13 currently - did a short Photoshop course last year for the basics but feel free to talk to me like an idiot! :-)
Recently returned from Australia - one of the photos we took has a cloud shadow that looks (a tiny bit!) like the outline of Australia. I want to put an outline of a map of Australia over the cloud and write the names of a few places we went on it so it looks like a map. I traced round a map of Australia and tried to put it over the top of the cloud shadow, but can't make it work properly. Ideally it'd be see-through so it was literally the outline and the original photo still visible in the background.
If this makes any sense then any advice would be welcome! :-)
Thanks x
The people I want gone are circled, with the original photos copied again, thanks
Hey Guys,
I am a freelance Photographer who primarily shoots night events (shows, clubs, etc.) and I am having some issues with my images coming out darker when I save them as JPEGS. I am shooting with a Canon 60D (Adobe RGB) and at the moment editing the photos in the Adobe RAW Editor (Adobe RGB). When I am editing the photos in the RAW Editor they appear to be in 24bit, but when I save them as JPEG (Adobe RGB) they appear to be more like 32bit (much much darker). Any ideas as to why this is happening? I would really just like the finished product to be what I'm seeing in my RAW Editor.
---> Side note, I just realized the images are only darker when viewing them through Windows Photo Viewer and Facebook (where the photos will primarily be housed). Does anyone know why the images are vastly darker when viewed through these applications? This is definitely a viewer problem. So how can I make my images look how they are supposed to while using things like Facebook?
Thanks in advance,
Matt
The first screenshot of the image in the RAW Editor, the second of the JPEG in Widows Photo Viewer.
***UPDATE***
None of my replies appear to be going through so I'll just post them here. Before posting this thread I attempted to save them as sRGB but it still had the same affect. I also just tried Steve's Save for Web method and have the same issue.
I believe I am saving them properly as JPGs (I will supply a screen shot in this post). MrTom, when I say 32bit what I meant was if you are editing an image in Photoshop and you change the color mode from 8bit to 32bit, it looks similar to the drastic darkness as seen with 32bit.
A mini solution I have discovered is to +70 the Black levels, this evens out the photos to roughly what I was going for once they save. I would greatly prefer an actual fix, but this will do if all else fails.
Thanks for all the feedback!
Just wondering if anyone can post step by step on how to get a get as much detail out of an extremely dark photo. Keep in mind that i am talking about photos that sometimes we take but aren't meant to be posted or send to anyone else, so it doesn't really have to look good. Here is one I have tried to lighten up. once I enhance it, I can see there is a iron work but I am not sure what it is (I have attached the original photo). I understand there is a limit to what can be done but I just want to know if I am reaching that limit. Thanks guys
I have clicked around 300 photos and all turned out to be normal as intended except few every now & then (9 photos) where the subject tht is standing is appearing to be compressed, i.e, wrong aspect ratio... whereas background seems perfectly normal... I have no clue how this can happen....
Pls provide your input..... Also if it can corrected in Photoshop CS6
