A question came to mind that I have never really thought about until now.
What is the copyright law on using free fonts commercially? The main website I use to get them from is "dafont".
My CC Photoshop does not recognize my fonts I purchased, anybody know how to make that happen? I have them in suitcase Fusion five it's not recognizing it anymore....UGH
Previewing and selecting fonts in Photoshop has never been a slick affair at the best of times and for me Adobe's latest 'upgrade' just makes the whole process even more annoying.
I'd rather place my wedding tackle in the mouth of a lion whilst flicking his love spuds with a wet towel.
This is a stupid question really, but is there a better way to preview and select fonts in Photoshop?
I've tried the trial of TypeDNA and whilst the standalone app is pretty good I couldn't get the PS plug-in to work.
Extension manager installed it OK but for some reason it doesn't show up as an extension in PS....neither in CC nor CC 2014.
The Type DNA website doesn't appear to have anything on troubleshooting despite being crammed full of info, although I may just have missed it.
So what does every one else use/do?
Am I alone in being annoyed by Adobes latest 'Font Preview upgrade'?
Has anyone else tried TypeDNA and got the plug-in to work in either CC or CC 2014?
...Or should I just forget it and keep flicking the lions pods?
Regards.
MrTom.
Hey guys,
So I'm a rather new music producer and I make some wallpapers for my tracks using Photoshop and then put some effects in there using Adobe After Effects.
So I usually just use either a gradient or an image in there, but it's rather hard to find images without copyright that look good and fit the track title.
And gradients kinda look boring (just a few colors that overflow).
So I was wondering how people make these kind of backgrounds:
(quality kinda sucks because I had it on 480p by accident, but you get the point)
Or a bit different style like this:
Or this:
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I know the "READ ME BEFORE POSTING" thread clearly said "rather use img tags instead of linking to external websites" but it kept saying that I exceeded my tags by 20. So yeah, changed it into this. If anyone wants me to upload it to Imgur or something instead I'll do that.
Hello everyone's i came here for one request, which is not possible for me.

Hey PSG,
It's been a while since I last posted, I have been busy on my new clothing line, very educational I must say. Hope you are all doing well.
I am posting to see if anyone has any reccemendations for "FREE" commercial use images. I have highlighted free in bold because a quick google search brings up endless pages of "free" images.
Now many of these images claiming to be free are copied of the internet, such as google images, therefore they are going to land me into trouble further down the line. It's hard to take someones word if it belongs to themselves, or someone else.
Therefore, if any of you are aware of any websites that you can trust that all the images OK to use, please share it with me.
I have some 200 meg psd files that need to be 30 megs in PDF format with fonts embedded. This is what the printer company requires. My file doc width & height cannot change. I have the complete Adobe Master Suite if another program would achieve the goal easier. Youtube links welcome. Also, I am using an InDesign template. Thx, Guru's
NOTE: All 3 samples are Kindle Erotica Book Covers. I couldn't find any non-erotica cover image.
Question - I want to create a simple Kindle Book Cover (that is, front side only) like the cover images posted below. I just want to know how to create the Text Effect. That is, how to create the Transparent (or opaque) bar and how to create the following text effects, both Title and Author Name Are the fonts or simple effects? Please help.
Please Help. Am using CS 5 Extended.
Thanks
Hello Everyone!
I need something creative help. I don't really know how to use photoshop that well other than basic functions. I have recently started getting serious about my photography, and had just picked out my watermark. My Photography alias is "Mr. Infinity". I had outlined my watermark, but want something custom done to it.
Here it is:
I am using this infinity symbol, but would like to see what it would look like if the letters "Mr." and "Mister" were somehow embedded on the bottom left curved line. Somewhat like this, but on the left side:
Of the full "Mr. Infinity Photography" like this:
Any creativity you want to embed in it is fine with me. Looking for someone who is good at photoshop, and wouldn't mind taking a couple minutes to help me out.
Thanks in advance.
Hey guys,
Sorry if this is against protocol. I am not a photoshop person but I know you guys are great at what you do and are very creative. I do competition BBQ as a hobby and am getting one of my competition smokers remodeled. When it is done I was looking to do a two tone powder coat job but dont want something basic I want something that will stand out and hoping you could help me. I am looking at doing a graphite grey and a bright royal blue or electric green. My smoker is a vertical refrigerator that will have a two doors on the front. a large door that covers 2/3 the height and one that will cover 1/3 the height. Overall it is 32" wide, 25" deep, and 77" tall. Can someone do a few renderings if they dont mind with those colors to help me get my mind going. I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
