How good is photoshop elements? I'm new to this stuff but am looking to make street art designs. Is there enough features on elements?
I need someone to edit a PrintScreen for me. You would only have edit around 6 simple elements. Will pay 10 USD . For more info please message me or post here. You will have to change some numbers in the image, and copy and paste certain elements. Price is negotiable. Thank You!
Hello all,
I have messed around with the full version of Photoshop afew years back and I was overwhelmed with all the features. I'm trying to update my website and add a fewbanners and other pictures that i need to create.
Attached are a few examples of things I need to be able tocreate.
Basically can I get by with something like elements or willi require a more robust version?
is photoshop able to measure color separate parameters like value, chroma and hue? like on the image below:
Hello.
I've recently photographed a few local bathrooms using my 18-55mm lens on a Sony A58 body. Since Apple's new OS Yosemite doesn't support Sony's RAW files I was forced to shoot in JPEG resulting in a tremendous undertaking of excruciating colour correcting in Adobe's Photoshop Elements 10. After a long period of getting the image to the colour and style I wanted, I was faced with a more challenging problem. I am now currently trying to match the colour style of my first image with another photograph of the same bathroom. Since I kept it on the same Custom White Balance it should of been easy but the second image had the door of the bathroom open while the first image had the door closed resulting in a mixture of different colour temperatures. Is there anyway of matching the style in Photoshop Elements for these two photos?
(First Image, Un-Touched, Door is Closed)
(First Image, Re-Touched, Removed Colour Cast, Sharpened, Skewed, Adjusted Hue/Saturation, Adjusted Levels, Adjusted Brightness and Contrast, Clone Stamp)
(Second Image, Un-Touched, Door is Open)
(Second Image, Re-Touched, Sharpened, Removed Colour Cast, Adjusted Levels, Adjusted Brightness and Contrast, Adjusted Hue/Saturation)
Hey All, I am new to PS, love it - I use it for everything now lol. I am trying to do some jersey designs and up until a few days ago I was able to use the bucket tool to change the various sections. I probably clicked on something and now the bucket fills up the entire jersey making it pretty much impossible to ad various colors etc. I could have sworn that all 3 attached images were allowing me to edit the various parts without affecting the rest of the image- i.e. jersey arms, shoulders, chest, neck, neck lining, etc etc - were all separate elements.
I am attaching the files I am using. If anyone can help out you would be really helping me out - I spent half the day and no luck.
On the same note - How would I search for a tutorial on creating various sections within an image i.e. I have a JPG of a jersey and I want to play around with it, so what is the action called to be able to cut it up into different sections? Am I making Sense? If I want to make he red jersey's shoulders, arms, and neck lining as separate elements which I could manipulate without affecting the rest; what would that be called so I could look into a tutorial. Thanks.
Hi guys,
First post so if it's a really obvious question then apologies! Using Photoshop Elements 13 currently - did a short Photoshop course last year for the basics but feel free to talk to me like an idiot! :-)
Recently returned from Australia - one of the photos we took has a cloud shadow that looks (a tiny bit!) like the outline of Australia. I want to put an outline of a map of Australia over the cloud and write the names of a few places we went on it so it looks like a map. I traced round a map of Australia and tried to put it over the top of the cloud shadow, but can't make it work properly. Ideally it'd be see-through so it was literally the outline and the original photo still visible in the background.
If this makes any sense then any advice would be welcome! :-)
Thanks x
This an image of myself. I have been trying to make it an overall better photo but I'm failing miserably. I know the background is a bit distracting, but I need help. I need this photo for my website, so I need it to look more like a professional portrait. Maybe some makeup, remove the background to something less noisy, sharpen it a bit, basically make it look like a model. Is that even possible? lol The reason I need to use this photo is it is the only one I have of myself with hair extensions in. My website is for hair extensions, so I feel this image is necessary. I do not currently have them in and do not want to put them back in for one picture. They are too long lasting for that.
Can anyone help me please? If not, can someone give me detailed instructions to do so in photoshop elements 9? Thank you!!
Hello,
I am completely new to this forum so I apologize if this is posted in the wrong place. I am using Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 and have a question regarding file size/quality. So, here it goes.
I am currently working on publication that requires all downloaded photos to be uploaded to a website that has a max file size of 20 mb. When I download an image to use for a background (some sort of a pattern that is normally somewhere around 800 x 800 size) the image is about 180 kb which is perfect. Unfortunately, the image has a poor ppi resolution and prints extremely blurry so in photoshop under image size, I increase the resolution so that the file size & resolution is bigger. This takes a lot of guessing on my part.
For example, if I increased the image resolution to 100000000 ppi, the file size would end up way over 20 mb which does me no good. So what I am wondering is, is if there is a way to optimize the the resolution of the image, given the file size limitations, without all of the guess and check?
If this looks confusing, I apologize and will gladly explain more. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
can someone help me out to remove some elements from a picture? i would do it if i knew how. if any of you guys can help please pm me.
thanks in advance
Hi Gurus,
Programmer here. I've been asked to do technical spec brochures for the company. Considering I'm not good at photoshop at all, I'd like to do automate as much as possible and have to do the least amount of manual work possible and make a template completely reusable.
I need these automated parts :
- Image of product easily replaceable
- List of specs easily editable
- Can add tabs and highlight one of them in order to show what category of products you are viewing (additional explanation : say, if you were looking at a product related to video surveillance you would have the tabs "cable", "camera", "recorder"; if you were looking at a product related to computers you would have the tabs "HDD", "processor", "monitor", "accessories"). The individual tabs must adjust their length so that the tab bar stays at constant length
- More generally, I want the individual visual elements to be able to adapt to different dimensions to keep the general look of the page aesthetic
And I need these constants :
- Logo and address at the top
- "Specifications" subtitle
- Tab bar is of constant length
I have an idea on how to program it with vector graphics in Java but it seems like an overcomplicated solution for this task. Is there a way to do this kind of task in Photoshop ?
