I am attempting to do the above tutorial. After I finished, I see that my dolphins are transparent and you can see the large dolphin through the baby dolphin. Since I don't want to start over, is there anything I can do to get the transparency out of them?
Thanks,

Hello,
I am still in the learning mode with Photoshop. I've run across something I am clueless about. How to save a transparent png or gif. I saved it like I do in PSP but when I posted it on another forum, it has a black background. Can you explain to me how to save it transparent the right way?
Thanks-

If anyone could give me a basic tutorial on this, I'd really love that!. If anyone is willing to help, I'd greatly appreciate it
.
I'm working on a tutorial and it calls for snowflake custom shapes, which I downloaded from Deviant Art. I set the color, using the same color code they recommended. The shape comes out red. Red, no matter what I do. I tried other shapes and they're all red. Mode is set at RGB color and 16 bits/channel. Can somebody tell me what is causing this? BTW I tried it on another image and it was gray (still not the right color.
Thanks,

Can you point me to a tutorial on distorting text in PS CC 2014?
I've been asked, by a friend, to do a postcard like project that uses photos
behind text as done in the image attached of a billboard here in town. The
word is "FAIR", not "Orlando" as in the sign.
I know how to create the open text letters and all the other steps of this
type of project, but I don't know how to distort the text letters similar to
what is done here.
I've played around with putting each letter on a layer and trying to
distort them, but haven't had much luck in getting what I want.
Not asking for it to be done. Teach me how or point me to a tutorial,
please.
Hello guys how to make this image? There is any tutorial to make something like this?
I am doing a tutorial that calls for dotted lines. I believe this tut is done with the newest version of Photoshop out there, so it has no problem making dotted lines. But I just cannot find a way to make them with my CS3. Dotted lines have always been easy in other graphics programs I've used.
I tried going to Style/ Dotted Strokes and I get a halfway decent result by using "no fill". But I can't get the lines in any color except white or black. It's not very editable, either.
Is there a way to get dotted lines or strokes with CS3?
Thanks,

Hi everyone!
Can someone please tell me/ or link me a good tutorial to how a realistic paint splash can be made? I couldn't find any tutorials, which showed how to recreate this
effect. Do I need a initial stock picture of a paint splash?
I have an example pic. (http://absurdwordpreferred.deviantar...-PNG-168320819)
I googled around, and only found out, that i've to use the Plastic Wrap Filter, that's a start, but it sill isn't very close to what I want?
So I'm designing a backdrop for my band in the style of the backdrop that The Beatles used on their Budokan gigs. Here you can see it being mimicked by a tribute band:
https :// www . youtube . com / watch?v=WHnYE8n7G4Q (remove the spaces)
And I've been trying hard to achieve the same effect with the same colours without any success whatsoever; that is, the text starting sort of in the middle and coming out like that. I figured maybe somebody here could suggest what I should search for to find the right tutorial (I don't quite know what word is appropriate to describe the effect), or maybe even make a tutorial for me.

Recently for fun I started doing a few day to night conversions which I'm told turned out pretty good. I have been having difficulty with the windows. Usually they turn out so you have a sense the light it actually coming from inside the room while other times the color I way off and not transparent at all. If I can figure it out I will put in a link to my last attempt on my cloud. It is not my design as it's from a you tube tutorial. I just added the windows and the timeline. TIA
Hello,
This is the tut:

I'm attaching a screenshot, too.
In step 3 of this tut, I only get a white fill when I follow the instructions. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks
