Realistic Paint Splash

Hi everyone!

Can someone please tell me/ or link me a good tutorial to how a realistic paint splash can be made? I couldn't find any tutorials, which showed how to recreate this
effect. Do I need a initial stock picture of a paint splash?

I have an example pic. (http://absurdwordpreferred.deviantar...-PNG-168320819)
I googled around, and only found out, that i've to use the Plastic Wrap Filter, that's a start, but it sill isn't very close to what I want?

Figuring Out What I Did.

About six years ago i made a small pixel image, enlarged it quite a bit and applied one or more filters in Photoshop to make it look cool. Now i want to make a similar effect on a different picture, however i am unable to find what i did to achieve this effect.Does anyone have a clue of what it is that i might have done? i have gone through every single filter in CS5 and i am not finding anything that produces the same effect.

Here is the before pixelated pictu

Here is the after picture (added color to eyes manually):

Need Some Directions On How To Create This Effect

Hi I'm quite a noob.
I would like to get some help creating this effect in photoshop.
1. The effect of having a gradient-like effect of the background. Is it made by creating a solid color and then using a large pixel soft brush to create the light effect?
2. The torchlight like effect of the images of the girl and the hands.
Thanks.

How Do I Achieve This Dotted/sprinkled Effect?

Hi, the image I have attached has a white dotted/sprinkled effect rather than a solid color. As you can see the dots are more dense in some areas, so I assume its not a fill pattern. Is it a brush that was applied more in some areas? or is it a large transparent image with random white specks applied as a new layer to the whole image, as the effect is also applied to the font.

Need Help With Reflective Glass (skyscraper)effect...

Hi , I'm new here!

I'm looking for a way to a reflective glass effect as seen in the attached pictures of the new 1 World Trade Center(Freedom Tower).

Is there an effect I can do to a picture of the sky to make it look like it's reflected in windows, kind of a 'chrome' look but not quite chrome.

I have a design of this building that I'm hoping I can layer an image of the reflective glass sky over.

Thanks in advance!

Transform Issue

Here's a picture of a pattern on top of another picture. I'm trying to transform the pattern (ctrl+T) in a perspective mode but it gives me the message you see on the screen.
The problem is that I've done this before and it has worked.
Am I missing something?

I've noticed that it will work for the "fill" function in the "edit" menu at the top but won't work for the adjustment layer icon at the bottom of the layers palette area.
