Hi, i've been trying to achieve the same effect as on the pictures attached through gradient+noise combination but the result is not exactly what i need. I searched for cosmic nail polish effect tutorial for ps (looks pretty similar to me lol) but couldn't find any. Any suggections? Many thanks.
Hey guys , i have come across a really simplistic yet unusual gradient on the web . picture below :
if you have a closer look , you'll see the gradient has some kind of a rippple effect , it not just a plain gradient . how do i make such a gradient in psd ?
you will see the ripple effect if you look closely . also you can see the banner here too.
Thank you.

Hi I'm quite a noob.
I would like to get some help creating this effect in photoshop.
1. The effect of having a gradient-like effect of the background. Is it made by creating a solid color and then using a large pixel soft brush to create the light effect?
2. The torchlight like effect of the images of the girl and the hands.
Thanks.
Hey guys , i'am not sure if my title is right LOL .

So I'm designing a backdrop for my band in the style of the backdrop that The Beatles used on their Budokan gigs. Here you can see it being mimicked by a tribute band:

And I've been trying hard to achieve the same effect with the same colours without any success whatsoever; that is, the text starting sort of in the middle and coming out like that. I figured maybe somebody here could suggest what I should search for to find the right tutorial (I don't quite know what word is appropriate to describe the effect), or maybe even make a tutorial for me.
Hi! I came across this cool photo effect and I was wondering how to do it?
I was looking for any or all of these answers:
Is there any specific name for this effect?
Do you know any tutorial for this effect?
Is there any photoshop action or filter for this effect?
Thanks
I'm going through a tutorial where we're using a technique that employs the use of the basic gradient tool to cover parts of a layer mask. From what I can tell, the instructor in the video is using a default black to white gradient. The problem I'm having is that he keep using the gradient tool to build up the area with several applications and angles. When I try to do that, my gradient application is 'replaced' by any following uses, instead of adding to it. Obviously I could just manually paint over the one gradient application with a big soft brush, but I wanted to know why mine replaces instead of adds. I've searched settings, but nothing sticks out. Any ideas?
What would be the quickest way to do the effect seen below:
I'm sure there's some gradient tool action going on somewhere but I want to be sure
Hello, I was wondering if anyone here knew how to recreate the multi colored gradient shadow effect on the image below. I have the black outline of the object that I want to be surrounded by the gradient, and I want to recreate it so that it is exactly how it is in the flyer below. Thank you.
About six years ago i made a small pixel image, enlarged it quite a bit and applied one or more filters in Photoshop to make it look cool. Now i want to make a similar effect on a different picture, however i am unable to find what i did to achieve this effect.Does anyone have a clue of what it is that i might have done? i have gone through every single filter in CS5 and i am not finding anything that produces the same effect.
Here is the before pixelated pictu
Here is the after picture (added color to eyes manually):
Please Help!
