Hello -
First off I don't know what to call this or how it is done. I am looking for info weather it be a article write up or youtube video. I'd rather have a video I hate reading.
What do you call this? please see pic I attached. I think it's done with an actual photograph and they converted it to something like a cartoon but not quite. I am referencing the two guys doing a triangle in the picture.
I use Illustrator and I have photoshop I am not proficient in either but with a tutorial of some sort I'll eventually figure it out.
Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You!
Yes, yes. xD I show up out of the blue, sometimes. I was surfing the web when I found this:
So I really like the whole 'I-don't-know-what-to-call-it' effect going on in this picture. I've tried it myself, but I think it takes more than just the overlay command. Could someone possibly guide me or maybe link me to a tutorial? x3
Hi to all
I'm sorry for my not so great title, but I just don't eally know how to call what I want to do...
In general, I want to create a picture that if I were to duplicate it and put it on top of the original, it will "connect" and look like a continuation of the original picture.
This is an example of what I wanna do:
I can't use the same method I've used here to create what I want, 'cause I wanna do it on a more complex picture. Like this:
If such an ability can't be achived then maybe is there a way, that if I'm drawing using the brush tool but there is not enough space for the whole brush to be drawn, it will not be drawn?
That is a background for a video game that I am working on and it is very important to me. So if anyone in here know how I can draw things without them being sliced by the borders on the canvas please help me.
Thanks in advance,
Liav
I am a designer who primarily uses InDesign and Illustrator and have a client that wants to recreate this gold and black gradient beveled embossed looking rectangle... however they want it in Photoshop. I for the life of me, can't remember how to do this with the gradients and changing colors. Is there someone out there that wouldn't mind giving me a step by step process on how to create that background box? I've attached the image. I know how to add the text, and all of the rest of the info, just needed help creating that outer border.
Thank you!
Stacey
Hi everybody,
I'l like just to ask what do ypu suggest about choosing a versatile Color Space for Color Correction for these actual times in witch we have the necessity to deliver a lot of graphic asset formats (for Web and Print and Video...).
So,we should be work in Photoshop, to make Color Correction, assign a good Color profile (color space) as standard sRGB, or better, with Adobe RGB or ProPhoto RGA as top quality.
Only the end, if we are ready with CC process, we should save some different .psd file versions as CMYK (for print issue), Rec. 709, (if we have to use photo in video), sRBG for web.
Is it a good choice/workflow, or I'm wrong...?
Many thanks for a reply!
Cheers

Hi everyone I'm a complete beginner with photoshop, I have CS6 I'm looking to copy a style of text from a photo and replace it with other text.
The style of text I am trying to copy is from a stamp so I don't think it will be in selection of texts available in photoshop, have tried looking around youtube for tutorials but I cannot find anything along these lines.
I've attached a photo of the text I would like to change, it says JUN 2014 I would like to change it to AUG 2014 using the same text.
Any advice much appreciated
Thanks

I was starting a tut and had to open an image provided.
When it opened, it was a channel mix image (if that's what you call it). 4 layers RGB, Red, Green, Blue.
How do I get this image back to one RGB layer? Can I? Never had this happen before. I can send more info if needed.
Thanks

I am a lab assistant at Norther Arizona University's Ecosystem Science research lab with the task of analyzing thousands of images in photoshop.
The goal is to calculate the amount of living, green plant matter within a specific circular area.
I am hoping for advice on how I can streamline this process.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you .Here is a link to a video a made detailing my problem.
Hi, it's been a while since I came by or even posted on forum. Had to juggle between work and school. Anyway, right now Im on vacation and I thought, what better way to spend time then to practice photoshop skills. I want to recreate style of Sleeping Dogs video game cover, but it seems I cant find any tutorial or explanation on the interwebz. So I would really appreciate if someone could send me in the right direction. Mostly I wanna know how to create these comic style faces in cover. I started learning illustrator too, so it wont be a problem if there is something vector based in he images. Thanks a lot
