Hi, how can I enable "auto place" in free transform mode ? I click something, and now I have free transform without some placing (in the middle of bg, on sites....) - like when you press ctrl.
Here's a picture of a pattern on top of another picture. I'm trying to transform the pattern (ctrl+T) in a perspective mode but it gives me the message you see on the screen.
The problem is that I've done this before and it has worked.
Am I missing something?
I've noticed that it will work for the "fill" function in the "edit" menu at the top but won't work for the adjustment layer icon at the bottom of the layers palette area.
Hi Folks!
I have a problem with "Puppet Wrap", I select any portion, >right click >free transform > and puppet wrap apperas dimmed, I have try some combinations and never let me access to the tool.
Sure it's a obvious question...
Hi there,
I have looked for an answer to this problem but have not been able to find it - so I wanted to ask if anyone here know.
What I want to do is to tranform (scale etc.) a part of a Photoshop image I am working on. I need to work very close (zoomed in) so I can not see the transform handles that I normally use to drag when tranforming.
Is there any way to do transformations using the mouse (with a dragging motion) - without actually grabbing the transformation handles? (eg. using shortcuts / mouse)

Hello folks, my name is John and I am new to the forum! I mainly use PS for photography but wander into the graphic design side of things now and again.
Right now I am struggling big time angle text in a precise way. As you can see below I am to trying to have text follow around the angles of the surrounding box but I am having big problems lining up the text correctly and ensuring it remains the right height (via free transform) and creating the angle in the right place whilst keeping the height and text the same on both sides (via vanishing point).
Any potential solutions would be a massive help! I've spent the last 3 hours trying to find/create a solution and I am at me wits end
oh and I am using CC

Hey PSG,
It's been a while since I last posted, I have been busy on my new clothing line, very educational I must say. Hope you are all doing well.
I am posting to see if anyone has any reccemendations for "FREE" commercial use images. I have highlighted free in bold because a quick google search brings up endless pages of "free" images.
Now many of these images claiming to be free are copied of the internet, such as google images, therefore they are going to land me into trouble further down the line. It's hard to take someones word if it belongs to themselves, or someone else.
Therefore, if any of you are aware of any websites that you can trust that all the images OK to use, please share it with me.
I have a problem with photoshop. Everything I do gets pixelated.
When I paste or place an object from Illustrator CS6 I choose place as smart object and as soon as I pace it it gets pixelated. I have tried with and without the anti-aliased box checked. When the box is checked photoshop pixelates the image and when the box is not checked the image looks really strange and digital with the pixels showing. All curves that were smooth and nice in Illustrator looks jagged and strange.
When I try and draw a shape in photoshop it looks in the layer-list like it's a shape layer but the object is heavily pixeled.
I have tried opening a file created in Autocad (by using dwg to PDF) and opening it as a smart object in Photoshop. Everything is pixelated.
When starting a new file in PS I have a 300 pix per inch resolution, 16 bits RGB color, sRGB IEC61966-2.1 as my color profile and square pixels as my pixel aspect ratio.
Under general preferences I have the box for "Place or drag raster images as smart objects" (I have also tried without it). I have also tried with the box for "snap vector tools and transform to pixel grid" on and off.
Regardless of what i do photoshop still pixelates everything. I have no idea what to do. Could there be some sort of setting that I have overlooked?
Does anyone know the best place to buy a genuine copy of CS6, I've seen a few "discounted sites" that I wonder if they're selling rookie versions which I'd rather steer clear of and what's the difference between the standard and extended versions?
A lot of them also seem to be downloads which I've always been a bit wary of but as someone mentioned if you burn it onto a CD you've got a copy of on disk anyway so there's not really any difference.
Any help and links to "trusted sites" would be greatly appreciated.
Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with ideas of how to make the sun shape from this image I attached. I have made one of the squiggly tails (lets call them tails for now lol) and transformed it by 15 degrees, then did the duplicate+transform again. I came out with the squiggly tails looking correct, but now I want to seamlessly mesh them together. Do you see how inbetween each tail there is a "U" shape that looks like they used the pen tool to blend it together? How could I do that more easily rather than going to each gap and using the pen tool? I hope that I explained it well enough. It's tough to get this across! Thank you so much.
