hey guys nothing much to do today boring day lol , so was just using PS and my paragraph pallet disappeared :( , any idea , how i can get it back ?
I used a psd template a while back that allowed me to change the text on the photo by changing it in the layers pallet as opposed to changing it on the actual photo itself. How do I change a text layer to make it editable in the layers pallet?
guys , I was just making a section which contains the about us paragraph . i usually see the about us sections are quite boring and the text from a users perspective is quite boring and uninteresting . have a look below :
can that be made anymore interesting ? how ?
i mean from a UI perspective , would it be good if i used just for the sake of attention grabbing , used a certain words as highlighters ( made them bold or bigger font or a different font ) ?
i just want to keep it simple but at the same time make the content more interesting (in a graphic way) . whats the simpliest and best way to do this ..... instead of a demontration , suggestions would be great .
Thank you.
Gautam .
I had a template at one time that allowed me to drop a photo into a box in the payer pallet and the photo became that layer with preset layer properties. How would I create such a box that I would be able to drop a photo into on the layer pallet?
Hi All,
I have an question regarding the indexing of colors I have not found an answer to online. I have a set of 400 indexed colors that are real life, profiled paint colors I use. I would like to simplify images to (e.g. the mona lisa). To say 20 colors, or any custom number i choose.
The limit with indexed photoshop colors seems to be 256, this means when i import my custom 400 color pallet, only the first 256 appear in the custom color table and the images miss many of the necessary colors to make the image seem balanced.
Is there an additional tool / program to get around this? Is there a script that could be written? If help is beyond a quick answer, but can be achieved, I am happy to pay for time.
Note: I cannot reduce my pallet to 256, as it will not produce enough variation and detail, dithering of any kind is also not an option.
Thanks in advance

As you know or may not know, tomorrow is the 100th commemoration of the Armenian genocide.
Special for that I was making a cover and got this as a result.
.
I'm already happy with the results since I most certainly am an amateur.
You guys have any idea what else I could do to get a better effect? Maybe a more dark and serious effect, you understand?
Oh right, and the smoke kinda looks, uhm, not too good
Already want to thank you guys
Hey guys! I just got back into photoshop and I am a little rusty, and wondered if anyone could help me with these effects
Edit: Do any of you guys know how to make the blue and pink lines? been struggling for a while now :s
Hi guys!
I enjoy editing character artworks eventually with Paint.net by manipulating pixels but there is only so much I can do. I did the left guy by only copy/pasting in multiple layers and by realocating and cleaning pixels.
I usually get stuck when I need to recolor something. I'd like to know how you guys would
1. recolor the forearm so it matches the face skin color
2. change the brown portion of the crotch area so it matches the gray paint of the pants
I suppose 1 is easier, Lasso Select+Hue/Saturation? I would still like to know how you guys would do it.
2 is trickier, I have no idea how to do it
Thanks!
Hey guys,
So I'm a rather new music producer and I make some wallpapers for my tracks using Photoshop and then put some effects in there using Adobe After Effects.
So I usually just use either a gradient or an image in there, but it's rather hard to find images without copyright that look good and fit the track title.
And gradients kinda look boring (just a few colors that overflow).
So I was wondering how people make these kind of backgrounds:
(quality kinda sucks because I had it on 480p by accident, but you get the point)
Or a bit different style like this:
Or this:
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I know the "READ ME BEFORE POSTING" thread clearly said "rather use img tags instead of linking to external websites" but it kept saying that I exceeded my tags by 20. So yeah, changed it into this. If anyone wants me to upload it to Imgur or something instead I'll do that.
