Using PS CC. I have set a photo to an image size of 4x6. I am uploading to an online photo printing service to purchase multiple copies of the photo on 4x6 glossy paper. I've tried both Costco Photo and Shutterfly but the cropping that is required cuts into the people shown on the photo. I tried increasing the print size to 5x7 but it cropped even more. If I use my own printer, I can reduce the photo to fit the paper size. This option is not available online. I tried reducing the image size to 5x3, but that doesn't work either. How do I format my photo to eliminate so much cropping with these online services? Thanks for any help you can give me. I've been using Photoshop for several years and have gone to two classes. Unfortunately, I only use it a few times a year so it's almost always like being a newb! Anne
No, I won't post a photo because I don't want anyone to edit this photo.
I'm just looking for a fun way to change a photo for printing on a t-shirt.
My OH's birthday is coming up and I need some suggestions to make a fun print.
So if anyone could provide me with some ideas, that would be nice.
I would very much appreciate it if me and the red headed girl could be cropped from the photo (I'm wearing a suit and holding a champagne glass and she's next to me haha) and be photoshopped into the 'party' image in a really cool way :P it's just for something silly haha. I reckon it would work best if it's inserted onto the side and she is on the corner anyway. If that doesn't work, maybe just crop me and put me into the photo thanks! Love you guys!
Hey guys, how're ya? so I happen to have a photo which is quite far but still somewhat similar to this photo I found on Reddit. I live in a country where the lunar festival this coming Sept 8th is celebrated so I was wondering if it were possible for my photo to be edited to something as awesome as this photo I got from Reddit?

I'm unaware of the technique required for adjusting the lighting of my flash, be it on the camera's flash or in Photoshop, so I was wondering if fellow photoshop gurus could give it a go for me and see how close it turns out? :P
Here's a moon image (hoping it is high res enough, if attachment isn't too high res then here's the link http://imgur.com/lJnQSKb) that I think would be nice to add in. Hoping to get the result in as high res as possible if it is not asking for too much. I thank you guys for reading my post and wish everyone to have a great Friday ahead! Cheers
Hi all
I have this photo from many years ago. I love the pic but have not been with the girl for years and years and would like to see if she can be erased (from the photo)
I have tried myslf using GIMP but my extremely limited knowledge andskill make the results less than mediocre so was hoping someone could give it a go for me
Thank you in advance for anything you can do
Okay, so here's the deal. I have a vintage valentine card that I want to sell as a printable. Currently though I am unable to print this out myself. The problem with this is that I can't take product sample pictures of this image in various uses. Right now I would like to create a "photo" of this vintage card as it would look if someone printed it out on card stock paper, then cut it out along the image outline. This would give a fold-able "greeting card" style, but the card would not be your typical square or rectangle, as the person would cut out the card along the image edge.
Here is the vintage valentine. It is in PNG format to preserve the transparent background.
Here is a similar example of the effect I want to create:
But I want to make the above effect, as if the valentine was cut out along the image edges, and not simply printed on a rectangular card. How would I create a product sample use "photo" with the vintage image in a cut out, standing up, card image?
I hope that makes sense.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers,
Chyina
Hello guys! A friend of mine wants me to take a photo of him similarly as the image attached in this post. I wonder if the "warm" colours of this photo have been created by the lighting setup or by a PS filter; if so, how can I recreate it? Thank you very much for your attention.
P.S. Sorry for my English, i'm Italian
I have this photo, all I want is for the cracks in the photo and what not to be fixed, The embossed stamp is fine, unless you can do that too. I am not sure if this is difficult to do, but if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
This an image of myself. I have been trying to make it an overall better photo but I'm failing miserably. I know the background is a bit distracting, but I need help. I need this photo for my website, so I need it to look more like a professional portrait. Maybe some makeup, remove the background to something less noisy, sharpen it a bit, basically make it look like a model. Is that even possible? lol The reason I need to use this photo is it is the only one I have of myself with hair extensions in. My website is for hair extensions, so I feel this image is necessary. I do not currently have them in and do not want to put them back in for one picture. They are too long lasting for that.
Can anyone help me please? If not, can someone give me detailed instructions to do so in photoshop elements 9? Thank you!!
So I am a self taught photoshopper and I had a friend ask me to do cover art for his next album. He's just a small time local artist and had the pretty generic idea of a photo mosaic of his face made up of other pictures, but I don't believe in doing poor quality work. I'm a little lost on how to go about this project though. I know that I have to place photos of the same color on his face to build it up but I'm not sure how to start. All I can find for tutorials on the subject either use the same photo over and over or use overlay or something to make the photos appear to be the right color when they aren't actually. Or people just use software to do it for them. Can anyone help with either tips or a link to a tutorial or anything about how to organically make a photo mosaic in photoshop. I don't want to use software because he wants to make money off his album and I don't want to step on copyright infringements and I also think it looks stiff. Any tips??
Hi,
I have been asked by a friend to recover the faded writing in this photo. (Reproduce the entire photo with the script visibly clearer/readable.) Although I can bring more clarity to the writing, I am unable to do so without enhancing the background texture of the paper it's printed on (using selective colour controls, levels & contrast). I have tried using the magic wand with only partial success. Can anyone please suggest a better approach?
Thank you.
Peter
PS: I do not have access to the original print, only a CR2 photo of it.
