Hello fellow Photoshoppers!!! I'm looking to create a vintage medical drawing from a photo in photoshop and was curious if there were suggestions, tutorials, etc. that may help me achieve this effect. I've attached an image of what look I'm going for and would love to get some feedback. Thanks!
Okay, so here's the deal. I have a vintage valentine card that I want to sell as a printable. Currently though I am unable to print this out myself. The problem with this is that I can't take product sample pictures of this image in various uses. Right now I would like to create a "photo" of this vintage card as it would look if someone printed it out on card stock paper, then cut it out along the image outline. This would give a fold-able "greeting card" style, but the card would not be your typical square or rectangle, as the person would cut out the card along the image edge.
Here is the vintage valentine. It is in PNG format to preserve the transparent background.
Here is a similar example of the effect I want to create:
But I want to make the above effect, as if the valentine was cut out along the image edges, and not simply printed on a rectangular card. How would I create a product sample use "photo" with the vintage image in a cut out, standing up, card image?
I hope that makes sense.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers,
Chyina
Hi I am just wondering how to achieve this effect (as seen in the following attachments).
The buildings have bold colours with barely any detail. Is this something that can be done using photoshop filters or does it need to be done by hand i.e drawing outlines with pen tool then filling with colour?
I've tried the cutout filter but the building appears to be a bit too detailed. I just want the colours to be reduced to 2-4 colour blocks?
Thanks.
Hello,
Can someone that knows what they're doing provide me with a tutorial on how to achieve this visual effect?
......Admin edit .... please upload full image rather than off-site redirect.
I am talking about the green image on this flyer with the man who is standing with his back to us, and the faint green text that is superimposed around him.
My photoshop skills are moderate, so I can make all the layers of text and the man. My question is, how do I achieve the green fill that is used in the image.
How do I make the image "green" like that?
Is it a combination of making it grayscale and then replacing grey with green? Or should I use a mask and a translucent fill?
Big thanks in advance!
Hi guys,
So I'm creating a logo based on the concept of sugar spun (caramel threads). Unfortunately, the logo needs to be at vector form, and so I'm asked to transform a realistic photo of the sugar spun into vector.
Below is the photo of the sugar spun and I want to illustrate all the crystal effect and tonal shades (or at least some) of it digitally. Is there a possible way? Can you guys suggest me how to do that, either by using special effect or drawing them manually...
Thank you very much.
I am trying to create a photoshop drawing like the one attached. I need help/advice on the best brushes to use and methods of doing so. Should I lean more towards the water color brushes? Thanks!
Hello Everyone,
I've been super in love with photographers/photoshoppers who use lots of rainbow glare type effects. I'm attaching photos. I've been trying to figure out how they do it, with gradients and brushes and all sorts of things, endless hours on youtube and I still can't replicate this effect. Anyone know how to achieve this effect? I would be SOOOO grateful and worship you for your genius.
Hi! I came across this cool photo effect and I was wondering how to do it?
I was looking for any or all of these answers:
Is there any specific name for this effect?
Do you know any tutorial for this effect?
Is there any photoshop action or filter for this effect?
Thanks
Hi, i've been trying to achieve the same effect as on the pictures attached through gradient+noise combination but the result is not exactly what i need. I searched for cosmic nail polish effect tutorial for ps (looks pretty similar to me lol) but couldn't find any. Any suggections? Many thanks.
Hi Gurus, I have been working on trying to create an effect that resembles the image I have attached.
I have been trying to figure out how I can achieve this accurately so that it does not look "effecty". I like the analog feel this art work has which is probably near impossible to recreate.
I have tried to create this in illustrator but there are just so many subtleties in the light and shadows which i am not as experienced in as the original artist (Karel Martens).
Any advice, ideas or even programs outside of CS6 any one could recommend would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
Jake
Hello guys! A friend of mine wants me to take a photo of him similarly as the image attached in this post. I wonder if the "warm" colours of this photo have been created by the lighting setup or by a PS filter; if so, how can I recreate it? Thank you very much for your attention.
P.S. Sorry for my English, i'm Italian
