Hi Guys
Could someone please give me some advice on how I can create the effect on the attached images, I'm going to shoot the subjects against a green screen and need some advice on how to add the background into the silhouette of the subject while still retaining some of their features.
Your advice would be really appreciated
Hi,
Today I saw a picture that looks different on black background and on white. There is an example attached. Does anybody knows how to do this? I found an explanation on the link below, but doesn't worked for me (when I create the subtract layer, it doesn't result on a transparency layer):
graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/9088/image-that-looks-different-on-black-background-and-on-white
All I know is that the final image must be a PNG file, with transparency on it... But don't know how to merge the two images to get the effect of different images depending on the background color (black or white).
Can anybody help me to understand that effect?
The attached picture is the black silhouette of a bass with transparent background (on its layer) but when I isolated it and did a background eraser a remnant of gray outline remains in many areas of the picture (this can be seen by turning on the black layer also in the file). I have tried to do additional color eraser to no avail. Can someone help me get this gray gone and leave only the black on the layer. I would like to know what tools and techniques you use as well. Your help is appreciated.
Heck I cant get the .psd to attach so I added i made examples below the first with the outline and transparent background looks good but when you put it on a black background (image2) you see the outlines in gray that I want to get rid of or turn black. Either way the goal would be when I turn on the black background the fish should disappear.
Thanks,
Dino
Fellow members, I have this photo that is in bad need of a repair. The photo has been damaged some way and has this awful green area over a good part of the whole image, including the faces of the subjects. I have tried a lot of the tools I have in my bag but I am having difficulty reducing it. Some advice would be appreciated. I can't post the complete image per an agreement, so will just post a section of it.
Hey guys!
Im new to the forum and average at photoshop, I can get around. Im looking for advice as to how to quickly get rid of the blow out in-between my boys heads and make the background more evenly lit. Thanks for your help!
I have a load of images that I have been given by a manufacturer, some have white backgrounds and are great. Others, have a black background..and are not great. I am needing to edit these black background images to be like the white background images.
You'll notice for the product (attached images) that there is packaging immediately around the yellow string. It's this bit that I am finding incredibly hard to change from the blackish colour to the whitish colour, shown in the picture with the white background.
Does anyone have any ideas please how I can change this black area to be like the 'good' photo? Any help is greatly appreciated.
I am trying to make some videos using still images but want to add some creativity to them. I want to be able to make certain subjects in the images pop out like in the following two videos:
(I can't post links so you will have to search you tube for the following videos)
1. George Strait's "Troubadour" official video (use these search words: "george strait troubadour")
2. Cee Lo Green's "Thank you" video (use these search words: "thank you cee lo green" -its the firefighter video)
Sorry for not posting links but my account is not allowed to post links yet.
I want to use the 3d/pop-out style effects. I am not sure where to start on how to get certain elements in the image to pop out and others blur into the background. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I am very new to Photoshop. I have attached an image of a map.
I would like to remove all of the markers and other things in the image. Ideally I would like to be left with just the map itself. No background or anything like. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I am trying to learn through a hands-on approach. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for the help.
Hi I'm quite a noob.
I would like to get some help creating this effect in photoshop.
1. The effect of having a gradient-like effect of the background. Is it made by creating a solid color and then using a large pixel soft brush to create the light effect?
2. The torchlight like effect of the images of the girl and the hands.
Thanks.
Hi Gurus, I have been working on trying to create an effect that resembles the image I have attached.
I have been trying to figure out how I can achieve this accurately so that it does not look "effecty". I like the analog feel this art work has which is probably near impossible to recreate.
I have tried to create this in illustrator but there are just so many subtleties in the light and shadows which i am not as experienced in as the original artist (Karel Martens).
Any advice, ideas or even programs outside of CS6 any one could recommend would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
Jake
I am trying to create a photoshop drawing like the one attached. I need help/advice on the best brushes to use and methods of doing so. Should I lean more towards the water color brushes? Thanks!
